For my 2025 EDGE Show piece, I wanted to create something unique and something that tells a story. I was inspired by one of my favorite shows, The Walking Dead, to transform one of my photos into an overrun, post-apocalyptic environment.

GOALS
Personal Growth:
This project was the first time I had attempted something like this. This project helped me grow my skills in photo manipulation and Photoshop art.
Storytelling:
Another goal of this piece was to tell a story. Every good artwork has a story behind it. This piece tells the story of a Bar in Nashville that has been abandoned for quite some time. The wooden boards barricading the doors and windows show that at one point, survivors used this building as their shelter. At this point, nature is reclaiming the Earth, and we can see that represented by all the moss and plant life accumulating on the building. Along with the plant life, the rusted door and street sign help show how much time has passed.
